First, it’s pronounced Ah-Sigh-EE. 🙂 Acai comes from the Acai Palm Tree in Central and South America. It’s also one of the cool kids (and most tasty) in the superfood category. It is high in antioxidants, fiber, heart-healthy fats and calcium.
“Superfoods” is a term used to describe foods that are considered to be nutrient-dense and beneficial for overall health and well-being. Superfoods are rich in antioxidants vitamins, minerals, fiber, and other beneficial substances.
The granola we use is made special for us and does not contain nuts. However, it does contain coconut.
We do also sell “Louise’s Original Granola” in many of our stores and the “original” version does contain nuts.
Please be aware that many of our items do contain nuts and your item may come into contact with allergens including nuts. If you have a nut-allergy please inform our staff and we will do our best to accommodate any request. However, we cannot guarantee that any of our products will be completely free of allergens due to the use of shared equipment.

Yes- we partner with local St. Louis based coffee roasters for all of our beans and strive to deliver the best coffee possible.
Yes! We have online ordering available on our website as well as our iOs app and Android app.
Please let our team know of any allergy that you have when ordering. We are happy to do our best to accommodate. We have procedures in place and dedicated blenders. However, we are not an allergen free facility. Several of our products do contain peanuts, tree nuts and dairy.
Yes! We are St. Louis based and opened our first location inside the City Foundry Food Hall.
No! None of our products contain any artificial dyes.

We use organic whenever possible. This includes most of our bases and coffee syrups. However, due to sourcing challenges, not all items are certified organic.
Yes- Acai (and other bases) are quite bland without some type of sweeter added to them. We researched a lot of options and settled on organic cane sugar.
Unfortunately not. City Foundry does not allow pets. However, we would love to see pictures!
